These linocut prints were printed by the artist directly from the original linoleum blocks using an oil-based relief ink (Gamblin Portland Intense Black) on 100% cotton rag paper (Canson Edition, bright white). Each sheet of paper was hand torn, which gives the prints a deckle edge. Prints are signed, dated, and numbered # of 27 below the image. The Hermit is # of 80. This first edition was printed at Open Press in Sterling, CO, and each print is embossed with the press's chop, a flying bird.
Image size measures 8.25" x 14.25" (21 cm x 36.2 cm), and paper size measures about 10" x 16" (about 25.5 cm x 40.6 cm).
Prints are flat-packed for shipping and are never rolled.
